Freshwater Bio Cube 29 Set up
I was given a 29 gallon Bio Cube. It was previously used as a saltwater tank but I'm planning to use it as a artificially planted freshwater tank, similar to my current set up. (pic below)
It did not come with a manual so I have no idea how to set it up. I have a pump, power head, 2 used somewhat clean sponges, and some other type of porous media. I've rinsed and wiped down the tank with warm water to get clean it and get rid of the salt build up.
What is the correct way to set this tank up as far a media and placement of the media. Can I re-use the media I have?

Filter media can be reused after a very very good cleaning. Most viruses and other nasty stuff typically will not be transferable between marine and freshwater environments.
Could you let us know the make and model of the bio cube that you have ?If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Although personally i don't like artificial plants i'm sure it can turn out pretty nice, i'm more a natural look kind of guy so i don't mind if my plants have algae or colourations on them.
Will keep an eye on this because i started to like nano tanks and i'm curious how the end result wil look.15 Gallon Tarantula tank - Completed. - 1x Lasiodora parahybana
55 Gallon South-America tank - Neverending. - 10x Nannostomus trifasciatus, 4x Corydoras aeneus, 2x Megalechis thoracata, 2x Acarichthys heckelii
15 Triassic tank - Planning started. - Possibly a healthy group of Triops cancriformis
