I was wondering about how many fish to start off with in this big pond (it is 4 feet deep 5 feet across and 15 feet long) the fish we are going to have are Nile tilapa and maybe some catfish. i don't know what number to start off with but i have heard the breed like rabbits and what catfish do you think can live with them.

Depends on how quickly you want to be able to start harvesting fish. If you are in no rush 1 male and 3 females will be enough allthough I would recommend 2-6 to have some redundancy. They do as you say breed like rabbits.
Do as I say. Not as I do.
