Yes, Mrs Goldy and I have decided to wait until next weekend to celebrate, just to be safe. My head it's still a bit muddled from all the drugs I received. (Slap, if she ever find out I'm calling her Mrs Goldy, I promise I won't tell her you coined the term ;-)
@talldutchie, sorry to hear you suffer from these too. I have never had such a bad crisis as this one. In over 35 years of migraines, this is the first time the pain was so severe that it literally was making me cry. Don't wish this on anyone. The one funny part was when the nurse was about to put the iv line in place, she warned me that I was about to feel a needle in my arm. I thought to myself that she could cut my entire arm off and I would probably not care, but did not have the energy to say so. I just told her I did not need any explanations, and to do whatever she needed to do as fast as she could do it.
Thanks again all for your well wishes and support. Glad to be back home.

Thanks again. Happy to report that I had a full night sleep last night, my head is clear, and I'm feeling back to 100%.
Of course, the bad news is that my sense of humor also returned to 100%, unchanged. I guess you will just have to continue to put up with it ;-)

I think we can all live with that LOL - better than you dealing with such an awful migraine!

My son has had migraines all his life. He started taking a medication last year that has really helped a lot. No more laying in bed in the dark after many years. He just takes one when he feels one coming on.
