    when i was younger i saw a planted cichlid tank and have wanted one ever since,so after years of finding what would and wouldnt work
    this is my end resultIMG_0460.jpg
    125 perfecto tank,stand,canopy
    pressureized co2
    odessey t5ho (6700-10000 k )
    fluval fx-5
    fluval 405
    sunsun 302b to act as co2 diffuser
    2 300 watt jager
    this is a dirt/gravel/rock tank that has been heavily plantedand the pics are from when i first got it up and running
    for all those who say you cant have a planted mbuna tank i say LOOK AT THE PICS!!!!
    yes i know that they are diggers but i have had it up and running for over a year now and my swords are growing out the the top of the tank
    planning and placement of plants and rocks are the key

    Looks good. I have never known plants to survive long with mbuna.
