Does anyone know if fish will snack on and maybe overeat planaria (those tiny white worms) ? I read that they are harmless but nothing was mentioned about what happens if they are ingesting them daily.

Ye almost any fish would snack on them. Not an issue. If you really wanted to treat for them you can treat the tank with dog dewormer. I cant remember the ingredient to look for but its a white powder.KING OF THE GOLD BARBS RAWR!!!!

Actually, it is an issue, especially for keepers of inverterbates, including snails, shrimps, crayfish, etc.
Succesfully eliminated them with help of Febtal (dewormer), the acting ingredient - fenbendazole (safe for inverterbates)
the dosing was 1 tablet for 100 L, to be repeated after 10 days

Treat the cause, not the symptom. Excessive planaria are the result of having too much available food in the tank. I.e, from overfeeding. Cut back on the amount you feed and the population will decline.
