+1 to all of fishmommies advise.
As fishmommie stated, nitrates above 20ppm need to be addressed. A large water change 50% today and another tomorrow will bring down that reading. But before you do that, I would do the nitrate test again (re-read the instructions), just to be sure the nitrates are at 80ppm. I have had a strange reading before. I always test again to be sure I didn't add too many drops of one bottle by accident.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

Nitrate is very high. Have you tested your tap water on its own for nitrate (also ammonia and nitrite wouldn't hurt, just to know if any are present)?

Are you using the "High pH" test? This can give a different reading from the basic pH test. What is the pH of your tap water (for comparison)? Remember to out-gas the CO2 from the tap water before testing for pH; shake a jar of water very vigorously for a couple minutes to out-gas the CO2, then test.

It is important to know the tap water values so that you/we can more easily see if things are changing un-naturally within the tank.

The hard water should not affect the Nitrates but does affect the PH.

You're biggest concern right now are the nitrates. You need to get them down - again, if the test was accurate. I'd rerun it and go from there.

ok Nitrate is still at the 80 and the nitrate in tap water is 5.0 with a red ring at top of the water. I'll do the other test on the tap water after I do a water change. When should I test the tank water after the change?

    Thanks for the help!

Do a big water change. Remember, if you do a 50% W/C that reduces nitrates to 40 ppm. 75% W/C should get you closer to what you want.
If you can, you should also vac the substrate and gently rinse your filter media in the water you remove from the tank. Do NOT rinse it in tap water as the chlorine will kill your Beneficial Bacterial.

I'd check again tomorrow and see how it's going. Work toward getting it down to around 10 ppm if possible so you have some wiggle room

Good luck and have patience. It will get there.
