Brackish setup possibilities
I have 3 fw tanks for many years but I am new to brackish. I was thinking of silver scats and monos with a school of black mollies. maybe something in the way of a bottom feeder aswell. what tank size and salinity would I need? any thoughts, ideas or comments?

I'm not too familiar with those fish, hopefully others here can help with that
My only suggestion would be to get a good quality refactormeter to measure your salinity with. The cheap swing-arm style hydrometers can give you misleading or inaccurate measurements by as much as 0.003. That is a Big difference. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
