    Question 2 male dwarf grouamis

I have been searching the threads here and elsewhere and cannot find if it is OK to stock 2 male dwarf gouramis, no females. Not interested in breeding until I have a few years of experience. What say you?

I say no, they are far too territorial and will eventually fight so much one will die. Only way this sorta thing works is if its a large tank 70G+ heavilly planted with lots of sight barriers and you have an odd number 3-5 so to make a pecking order.
    My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

Likewise. With this and most of the "common" gourami, one male with 2-3 females of the species is best, if tank space is sufficient. Two males requires space. They are very similar to cichlids in this respect.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

I had two male gouramis and they were extremely aggressive to each other. The more dominant one eventually killed the other. They were much more hostile and aggressive than any of the African Cichlids I currently have.
