  1. Default Eggs in my tank?!?!

Hey guys, haven't been around much. My betta and plants arrived today (because I'm an idiot and wanted to save money on shipping I ordered them at the same time). I set up the tank at 8am this morning it's now 4:20pm and I've noticed tiny yellowish clusters of what looks to be eggs on the surface of the water & on the higher stems of the plants. Anyone know what they are? I caught my Betta eating some.

I'll post some pictures later, my camera is flat and I'm trying to find my phone cord.

here's the 'eggs' sorry about the photo quality. There's heaps more than this just floating in the water, I'm pretty sure they came in on the plants. I made the mistake of not rinsing them. I'd found the box of fish & plants on my front porch at 8am, I was still half asleep and i just wanted to get the fish acclimatised & safely in the tank as quickly as possible.

Since there are no other inhabitants they likely are pest snail eggs.

Thanks, looks like I'll have to remove them then. Not looking forward to that venture, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do.
