  1. Default 75g no center brace. Hood for it?

I have a 75g with no center brace. All the hoods I've seen online so far are for the tanks that have hood. Where can I get a hood or how can I make a center brace?

Was the tank originally made with a center brace, or is it a uro-braced tank ?

If it had a top frame pc but the center cross support was removed, you would want to replace the whole top frame pc with a new one. Places like glasscages.com will stock frame pcs of the more common tank sizes.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

No I just checked, and the tank top is made out of wood and did not come with a center brace. It's an old tank and I REALLY don't want to replace top top because I already have water running in there. What other options are there?

Can you post a few pics ?

Some tanks are designed not have a center brace. Yours might be one of them

I'm pretty sure this one was designed without a center brace. The material for the top is wood.

Looks a lot like my 75. How thick is your glass, mine is almost 1/2 inch thick.

You may have to go DIY. Here is a link that was shared with me in my journal, it may give you some ideas... http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=42194
