I'm gonna do that this weekend^

Well, they opened back up yesterday and look better than ever! Any chance they took a break to grow? They look bigger and have much more color to me.

If your salinity is consistent at 1.025 to 1.026, then I would guess your alkalinity levels are causing the stress and not growth. My green and pink star polyps seam to grow all the time at the same rate regardless of if they had recently closed up or not.

Glad to hear they bounced back for you
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks, Cliff. I will be picking up an alkalinity test as soon as I have time to make the trip.

It appears in your photos you have your powerhead going straight into the gsp but I could be wrong. If it is going straight to the gsp I would aim the powerhead away from it as too much flow will stress them and may make them close up. Also, what size is your tank?

Thanks, Johnny, but the GSP problem sorted itself out. I have since removed them from my tank as they ended up being a nuisance. Wow...I can't believe my tank used to look that bare!
