I have had indoor feline companions for 30 years and am really enjoying this thread!!!

The first time I had 2 kittens together (sisters) was a hoot! When they were spayed Emily shimmied up the limb of my 7-1/2 foot tall cat tree (made from real tree limbs) and tore out half of her stitches! The vet said to keep them "quiet" - yea, right!!!

Add your stories! I love reading them.

I have to admit...as much as I don't want 4 cats...the 2 kittens have provided us with hours of entertainment...

One of my cats thinks carboard is the best toy ever. She will sit in any box and bite off pieces where she can reach. She keeps going until she has a giant pile of cardboard debris. She really likes the cardboard flats bottled water comes in because that way she can lie down and bite cardboard at the same time.

My friend Vivian in Milwaukee has a Ragdoll girl named Sierra. Sierra has maybe 1 brain cell - she lost her entire tail to an infection and I think that was where all her brain cells were located.

She also loves the bottled water flats. Vivian has a small Cape Cod with a basement. She had just removed all the bottles from the flat and threw it on the floor by the basement steps. Sierra started playing in the flat, under the plastic shrink wrap, tipped the box forward and slid all the way down the steps to the basement like she was riding a toboggan!! After her ride, she was very confused and had no clue what to do to get back upstairs. It was one of the funniest cat antics I have ever seen!

I've left a cardboard box out for ours too...endlessly (almost) entertaining...

The last 2 days they've been into knocking things off shelves...like lamps, pictures in frames, and for some reason knocking my clothes off the chair (serves me right for having a 'can still wear' clothes chair I suppose...I should put stuff away...or toss it in the hamper...)...
