*argh* Bad kitties!!! Bad kitties!!!
The kittens are growing - I now have pre-teens...
Thursday they knocked down the three plants I had in a plant stand...took me forever to clean that up, and 2 plants still need to be repotted (on today's list)...
Now they went back to the scene of the crime and knocked my giant fern off its stand.
I have an even bigger mess to clean...and another plant to repot...
Bad kitties! LOL... if they weren't so cute they'd be in even bigger trouble...
And I am still crating them when we're not home. This all happens when we're home and they're being supervised. They disappear for a minute and start gardening...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Yup, the joys of having kittens. We close off our kitten in our spare room when we go to bed are leave for work. He just get himself into too much trouble right now. Not to mention the trouble he finds when were at home. I sure had forgotten how much energy a kitten can haveIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I went to get the paper towel for clean-up after I was done repotting the plants (figured I may as well put them in bigger pots while I was at it)...
...and found the kittens had shredded the roll...

We lock our two cats in the spare bathroom (a 14*15 room so it isnt small) when we have lots of company. Some people really dont like cats. I have to remember to put away the toliet paper or a have lots of white confetti everywhere. And they dont even have front claws they shred with the rear.
Also bought them a new box and they love it. It is the jumbo version of the cat it brand box. It takes so much litter though.

give them something "ok" to climb on! sounds to me like they are wanting to climb...some cats are more climbers than others....i also read where you can put tin foil around the base of the plant on top of the dirt to keep them out of it...maybe that will help too....they need lots of playtime! seriously my kittens always drive me nuts until i finally let them have outside time.

I just got a young cat (one year old), after having to put down my 13-year-old because he got paralyzed.
This new one is a bundle of playful energy. I let him out during the daytime and lock him indoors at night.
Tomorrow, I'm going to dig up some old cat toys and see if he will play with them.
As for being living paper shredders, several of mine once shredded a whole roll of paper towels and strewn them all over their little cat house. They also dislodged the weather stripping from the door and played with it.
They're so doggone cute (and they know it -- don't think they don't), they naturally get away with almost anything. Except stalking the bird feeders. They get a water bath from the garden hose for doing that, and most learn rather quickly.
Get your kitties a tall, carpeted cat tree with plenty of little hide-and-seek holes and padded bedding. A leg covered with sisel for scratching also helps. You can find these cat trees already made up at most pet stores. Sounds like that's what they need to help them channel their overabundant restless energy.

There's not much climbing...but a lot of digging, lol.
I have tin foiled the pots...but they removed the tin foil before excavating...
There used to be the cutest cat trees...they actually made them look like trees. I would have bought one of those if they still made them...but now I can only find the regular ugly ones.55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos
