I posted a while ago about white and red worms in two of my tanks. Since then I have cut back on feeding, vacuum every other day and I still have a TON of these red worms (and white worms) coming up. What are they and how do I kill them?

Looks like Camallanus? Do you notice these worms hanging out of the anus of any of your fish?

I have not noticed them hanging out of the fish... I'm not saying its impossible though, I've just not noticed the fish effected at all.

he mentioned "tones" as result of vacuuming, so I conclude this could be tubifex, harmless worm.

I can't remember if you have Cory's in your tank? If not get a school and they will wipe them out.
