    Default Mystery anemone help

    0 Not allowed!
Hi I am new to this site but looking for an answer if anyone can help.

We bought an another anemone about 6 weeks ago for our tank which was huge with white tentacles pink tips. our other one is the brown tentacles with pink tips which has been fine since owning it.
It has been fine in the tank but since putting it in the tank we have had 2 sweet lips go missing and a small clown fish with no sign of them at all.
we normally feed both of the anemones prawns that are frozen but thawed out. It was fine this morning then coming back from work it had shrunk down dramatically and started to what looks like shred the back end of its self I have never seen it do this before and the fish keep going up to it and pecking at it. all the other corals and anemone look healthy enough.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
I will add some before and now pictures.
    thanks Gem

Based on the appearance and the missing fish, I would guess you have a condy anemone

The anemone doesn't look like he's in good shape either

Can you give us some more details about the set-up and your water parameters ?
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Hmm, looks more like a bleached H. crispa. I'm afraid it was starving because it is bleached and the lack of zooxanthellae will require you to feed it a lot for its energy until it recover. This may be why it is possible that it ate your fishes.

Please provide the information that Cliff requested so we can understand more.
