Sand or Gravel for Kuhli Loaches
The title pretty much says it all. For Kuhli Loaches, is sand or gravel better?

Sand would allow them to forage in a natural fashion, as well as bury themselves.

I have smooth pebbles and a sandy "river" in my tank. They don't seem to favour the sand and love to dive into the pebble-bed and disappear completely. Rough gravel obviously would not permit this, however I used to keep them on gravel (the same individuals I still have) for over a year and they were always healthy.55g planted: 10x adult guppies, 9x kuhli loaches, 7x black neons, 2x neons, 6x Amano shrimp, assassin snails & cherry shrimp
