I have in my tank one male guppy and two female guppies and several other types of fish, amongst these Platy.
The one male guppy is only interested in the female platys, and is always chasing them. I've never seen him go after
the female guppies. And the one male platy I have is courting the male guppy... Is this normal? To be fair, the female
platys look a lot like the female guppies, but still...

From my understanding guppies will go after other live bearers and male live bearers might buddy up
I had 2 male guppies that were a tag team
    hope this helps!

Actually, there's a chance your female platy will end up giving birth to platy/guppy hybrids... Puppies, I suppose. Might be kind of cool to see...
Most livebearers seem to prefer larger females, which will naturally have more babies, so that could be why your guppy is after the platies.
I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.

    How old are they?
    Guppies chase everything!
Try to keep the guppies by themselves
