Black Kuhli Loachs burrowing under gravel?
I just purchased 3 black kuhli loachs about 2 days ago. They are about 1.5'' each(smaller then expected). They are burrowing themselves underneath the gravel . I do not really have any hiding locations for them in the tank they are currently in(5 gallon, until they get a little over 2'') . I will purchase a small cave for them if they would use it.

My question is - are they doing this because the gravel is river rocks, because only 1 hiding location,or is it normal?
1st Post so, sorry if this is the wrong location , it seemed like the best spot.

Kuhli loaches like to burrow in the substrate, so this is natural behavior for them. I have kept many kuhli loaches and in my experience, if you give them more options for above ground hiding they will take them.People say if you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all... Then they wonder why am I so quiet.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
A moderator on a fish forum should be able to identify an oscar... Don't you think?

Alright, thanks! Just making sure that its normal and not something odd/wrong with them. I will add some hiding spots then.
