Male guppy behavior
From what I've read, I'm seeing male dominance displays in my guppies. Two male guppies are face to face and shimmy at each other. Is this normal when there is no female guppy? They do seem to be really interested in my female platy and follow her everywhere which is rather strange to me since the male platy doesn't pay any attention to her at all.

The best way in my experience to keep guppies is one male to every two females. The males are focused on the females and the females are not too overwhelmed if there are two of them to every male.

yes, that's normal, they will chase pretty much any female livebearers in with them, regardless of what type it is...swords, guppies, platys, mollys...

hm, I never checked the date of the OP. I always click on "new posts" and make a point of looking for threads with no or few responses...guess the OP found the answer elsewhere...
