Unhappy help needed....fin rot betta and guppies!!

    Hi all,
I am hoping for some help. It seems my male betta has fin rot I wasn't sure at first it looked nipped so I kept up with ensuring clean water. My betta still has fin rot but is still active and eating and now I have noticed that 2 guppies look like they may have it and possibly a couple neon tetras. It has been about 2 weeks. I have just got some king british fin rot treatment to use in my 180 litre tank, my problem is that I'm unsure if it is able to be used with shrimp. I have 3 japonica shrimp. I can't find any thing online, the instructions don't specify and the LFS was unsure. It is a community tank with 2 BN plecs and other fish which don't have signs of fin rot, I also don't have a spare tank if needed. I just really need some advice please :( I feel like I'm going round in circles.

If any of you know it would be a great help.

    Thank you

I looked up this King British Fin Rot and I believe its main ingredient is Phenoxyethanol. It is a sedative but it does have properties which aid in the combat of bacteria/fungus. It is safe with inverts. You really should get another hospital tank though......

    What are your water parameters?
Think with logic and rationality more than emotion. Act with moderation and consideration. Contemplate ideals and realistic goals and weigh out possibilities and options. Temper not with personal delusions or false hope but learn to accept and move on.

I am definitely going to get a hospital tank when I get paid! !
NO3 10, NO2 0 (has been higher) , GH 4, KH 0, PH 6.4, CL2 0. I am doing regular water changes and was going to continue to do so each morning before adding the king british fin rot tomorrow. At present one guppy with fin rot seems a bit lethargic with random spells of energy and is laying on the bottom alot. Thank you for your help
