Default Identify and how to plant?

    0 Not allowed!
I'm new to plants and got a variety pack.
Everything that came, I could identify except for this. I've never seen it before and I'm not sure if it's a floating plant or what. Any advice on how best to plant it would be great. I see it has roots but am having troubles separating it into stalks that can be put in the substrate.

Looks like a floating plant IMO, but I'm no expert...

Yeah Slap that's what I was thinking. I just threw it in the top for now so I'll see what it does. That's good I wanted a floating plant.

It looks light deprived. Let it grow in a good environment and it will likely develop more prominent characteristics. My guess would be rotala or similar.

Yeah it took three days for the shipping because the post office delivered it wrong on their first attempt so it went several days without good lighting.

Actually looks like Baby Tears (Hemianthus micranthemoides) to me.. I have them in my tank, They're planted stems I believe. Or at least that's what I know and have been told..
