Red Silicon Decor
Hi, I just made a red fan coral using Red silicon (used in making gasket in car engines), it turned out beautiful, allowing it to cure for a few days before introducing it in my aquarium. I am just wondering if the Red Silicon is safe for the fish, has anyone ever used it before?

I would suggest not using it until you could find your answer
Automotive silicone has chemical additives allowing it to be heat resistant. I would be surprised if those chemicals were safe to use in a aquarium, but I certainly could be wrong about that. Perhaps get a copy of the MSDS sheet from the manufacture. You can look up the listed ingredients to see if there is anything that could harm fish or even bacteria.
