Sanded down they look like wood. So removes the reason to use antler. The Roe Deer Antler is rugged and rough looking, which I personally like. Also it is 'budget friendly' for a student like myself. I hope to attain some Red Deer antler which is more naturally smooth. I will post some updates if I manage to get some :)

    Knocked this together this morning.

I was thinking about what you were all saying about the rough handles. These knifes are for dress purpose only, they go in your sock when you wear a kilt. They arent functional XD

Totally legal to ship overseas. Also the keyrings are nice and light so I can send them in a padded envelope. I have paypal if that helps :)

I used to know someone who made all sorts of things with whitetail deer antlers. I dont know if you guys still have native deer there but if you do you can walk the woods in the spring looking for the shed antlers. My brother in law has hundreds he has found that way here, some elk too.

One thing to remember is that it is good to wear a surgical mask when you cut antlers as the dust can be very irritating to the lungs.

    Good luck in your ventures.

Our native deer are roe and red deer. The red Stag is one of the most iconic Scottish images actually. Might go a walk and see what I can find :)
