Both sorry and happy for your change - the discus community here is losing a truly gifted and brilliant keeper. I am certain the saltwater community here will now have an equally talented member! Best of luck but you, as clear from the tank photo’s, make your own luck with great insight, and hard work!
    Knowledge is fun(damental)

A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is down to just two Sterba's Corys. Filters: continuous new water flow; canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber!! Finally, junked the nitrate removal unit from hell.

No offense meant but how anyone could find beauty that stunning to be boring is beyond me. I could look at their serene movements and gorgeous colors for hours. what a beautiful tank.

...because to many, behaviourally, they just aren't that interesting. I know, no matter how much money or time I had, I would never have a discus tank. They don't "do it" for me. It's not just about what they look like for many fish keepers, it's about their behaviours and interactions.

It would be boring if we all liked the same things.
