I know that feeling. A lot of legal music content isn't available to us.
Hmm... perhaps you need to do some experimenting, see what your taste is and if you are interested in more adult flavours? I don't know. Personally I never say no to a salade nicoise.

That's one thing that's good...while we eat 'bland'...all 5 of us like salads and veggies. When my younger son was little he'd go to a fast food restaurant and ask for 'rice and ceasar salad'. He just didn't understand why they didn't have that as a menu option. He's still a big rice eater (vs. potatoes).
We also do a lot of stir-fries in the winter. Easy...and everyone eats it. Left-overs get used up as well.55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Starches... It's funny, as a kid you could not get me to eat rice. Then I started eating the family rice as a teenager, and now I eat it a lot more often than potatoes (though I still enjoy potatoes, I'm just not cooking them as much). I've discovered that it's plain rice I don't like, which allowed me to open things up and just cook it with flavorful ingredients, even if that's just stock and aromatics.
As a kid, the only way to get me to eat salad was to drown it in thousand island dressing. Now I've switched to drowning it in hot salsa, the few times I eat salad. A much healthier dressing. LOL
