In this tank I think Harleys would look great in a 10-15 fish school and then pepper in some red cherry shrimp and a 6pack of dwarf cory and call it a tank.

Thats the problem, I can't get my hands ON ANY AMMONIA (PURE) It's seriously impossible to source in the UK. Iv'e tried amazon, pharmacy's (independent as well), fish stores, DIY hardware stores. I literally cannot get my hands on any. But the local pet stores have advised me to continue with the shrimp method 'any eventually it will sort itself out' :( My ammonia reading is a constant 0.25ppm, iv'e added more shrimp to dose it up. I have a carbon and zeolite filter so there's no smell

There is some debate on whether zeolite will slow down a fishless cycle. I was unaware of the issue when I fishless cycled my tank and had zeolite in my canister. it still cycled in 3 weeks so I think you'll still be okay. You might want to add some bio max to your filter if you have room to tuck some in there. the biomax will give the BB more places to grow and in the long run you'll benefit by having it in there.
Just to be clear, don't replace anything in your filter at this point. Leave all as is so you don't toss any of the BB that's growing but add the biomax if you have room. make sense?.

Oky dokey, I'm just going to purchase some of this biomax and place it in my filter. Do you think, not have a pure ammonia source will mean my tank won't cycle?

it's much easier to cycle with ammonia but if you've got nitrites showing, your tank is coming along.
Another possibility - is there any chance that your LFS would have some seeded filter media they would be willing to give you? If so, just tuck it in your filter and that will definitely move things along. In fact, with a 15 gallon tank, you wouldn't need all that much media to cycle it completely.

I will definitely ask them for some, in fact I have a friend who could perhaps give me some :) Well i'll try that, thanks again for taking the time to give me the advice, I do appreciate it. Here are my readings. I tested twice (same results/no anomalies).

hey, unfortunately not. In fact I believe under new legislation pure ammonia or ammonia mixed with water - ammonium hydroxide, cannot be sold in the uk for security reasons. All foam when shaken and contain non-ionic surfactants I'm afraid.

No was saying both. It's not that big and both are mid water dwellers.
