    Default Guppy chasing Platy

I have a hi fin Platy that's been in the tank awhile, I added 2 guppies and they both wont leave him alone. Chasing, nibbling it looks like. I took a video after my weekly water change earlier. Can anybody tell me what's going on. I've noticed lately when they stop chasing, he rubs hisself on the cave.

The two guppies look like Males, is the Platy a Female? Live breeders don't care about species.
Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..

You only have two guppies in the tank? That could be part of the problem. Guppies are schooling fish and are less prone to nipping when they have a proper school.

They might not clump up into proper schools, but they do become less aggressive with more of them present, and thus are best kept in school-like numbers.

But wouldn't they pester all the fish instead of just the certain one?

They shoal, like Serpae tetras. They don't usually school together, but as mentioned, they feel more comfortable in greater numbers. Looks like you have an overly aggressive guppy. lol
