10 Gallon Setup
I have a 10 gallon tank sitting around that I've been wanting to do something with. I have a filter and heater but need rocks. I was thinking about going with a natural look.
Question is - What type of fish could I go with that are active and colorful? And how many is safe for a 10 gallon?

A 10 gallon is a little restrictive but check out some of the micro rasboras or smaller tetras like embers. As fas as how many, depending on your cycle technique and filtration I would say 6 to 8 fish max. Dont be afraid of getting a filter rated for a 30 gallon tank. The more filtration the better in the long run.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

you have some options.you could do a betta tank with some cardinal tetras or neon tetras.dwarf puffers would make for a cool tank id recommend around 3 for a 10 gallon tank throw some nice plants and some ramshorn snails for them to munch on and itll look great.

For me the only really nice looking 10g setup is one full of driftwood, like so much you can't see the back, and some killies."At some point you aren't making the animal more dead...You are just making a bigger mess." - Demjor19
