    I was wondering your view on wall aquariums ? the one i was looking at is 30 liters

    And a very narrow 30 liters at that I assume? Pretty much impossible to keep fish in there long term but shrimp could work.

    yes but was thinking about 3 or 4 neon tetras ?

    Neons are a schooling fish and do much better in groups of at least 6 - I agree with talldutchie - they should be in at least 10gal (I'm not sure what size that is in liters).

    Usually, bettas are recommended for tanks that size, but how does one change the water for a tank that size? You remove it from the wall to do maintenance?

    Are those tanks suitable for fish ?
    ask ?'s and change some water pair of JD's and loving it.

    They can make a nice "living garden" if you plant it up. I'd be comfortable with shrimp/snails in them but not fish.

    Don't do it - IMHO! I can only imagine that will be a pain to complete water changes on.
