    They are beautiful. Do they get along well or does the male bully the female sometimes?

    I wouldn't call it bullying but HE thinks he's supposed to eat first . They do get along pretty well but they haven't tried to mate up in several months now and I get the impression they're not interested in that stuff and I would like to maybe do something that would intice them into mating. Any ideas or should I post this in another forum ?

    no ideas on mating for the JD's but wanted to comment on what a pretty pair they are. how large is the tank and how large are the fish? again, gorgeous. thanks for sharing the photos. I have an EBJD that I've had for almost a year now and he's around the 4 inch range. very slow grower. Don't know how they compare growth wise to the regular JD.
