Additional Tetra Stocking Options
I currently host 10 bloodfins, 10 black neons and 10 orange flame von rio tetras. Add in my clown pleco, I am at 70% stocking level according to the calculator people seem to use (should be in my signature) and want to increase the numbers. I have a 55 gallon tank and am sticking with the same species I currently have. Should I stock all species equally or particularly favor one over another? I'd like to get more black neons in there because they seem the most timid right now.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Honestly, at this point, it doesn't matter which you boost. Quite frankly, if it was me, I'd get a whole bunch of Julii cories for the bottom, but whatever mix of tetras you want will work. If the black neons are timid, you might want to boost them, but if you have ten of each you have enough.I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.

You could easily up each school by 5-6 and be okay and get a school of Cory's. Or you could get one more school like Neons, Cardinals our Blue tetras since you have so many red fish. A school of 6-8 Emperor tetras would look great even though they don't realy school like the fish you have, they still like each others company.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
