Hello, i wonder if there is somebody who'd like to share the experience of creating a working sandfall in an aquarium..

    I've tried twice and failed.

I am contemplating making a sandfall, of course that would involve sand lol. As soon as I switch out my gravel I will to it out.

I researched this last year and found a few sites that had youtube videos showing how to do it. The sand basically needs to be sucked in by an air pump through a conduit and then spills out and hopefully lands where it can be sucked up again. I think getting it to work perfect is pretty hard and even if it does, you'd probably on turn it on sometimes. Honestly though, it seems like something that would lose it's appeal quickly.
