Those are the fattest otos I've ever seen.
When in doubt, do a water change.

It seems my Otos have taken to hiding like they are known to do. But for the life of me, I can NOT see where they are. I should have,....er...well, at least 6 or 7 of the little dickens. Now I only see the 2 newest ones to go into the tank. Can they hide that well?!!

Question, can the little barbels on my dwarf Julii grow out? He seems to have "lost" them...will he be ok? I noticed they were small when he was in the 10ga but now they are just little bumps. The other two have nice ones....

Oh, my lfs guy told me today about a fellow that came in and purchased 300 cardinals all in one order. Made me think of you![/QUOTE]

Now that would be absolutely mesmorizing....something I have had in the back of my mind. A good sized tank with 1 species of schooling fish..

Mine will hide, but not for long...try to coax them out with an algae wafer, broken up into pieces

Yes, they'll grow back out, but you need clean, clean water...step up the WC's if you can, not necessarily bigger ones, but more often

You have more than 1, right?
