I think I advised you many, many posts ago to ditch the couch!!! Everyone sitting on the floor, playing with the dog and watching the fish in the new 75 gal is a much better idea!

If you rehomed the platies, you could possibly add 1 BNP, but that would be it. Or more cories, but not both.

You did advise that, I haven't forgotten!...I just can't convince Mrs. Slap (yet) that bean bag chairs are a much more efficient way of sitting, if you must sit...I'm still trying

I am leaning toward more cories when I re-home the platys...

Lol, I've been saying this on this forum for years! I'm glad the concept is finally catching on.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Hey mommy1, I realize now that couches are really nothing more than a huge waste of space...I would never have thought about it until I realized that fish are more important than me, or mine, becoming a potato...a "couch" potato....just doesn't make sense

.are the albinos the only ones that are pale in color like that?...I would like some light-colored ones that will really stand out against my dark driftwood
Sorry I'm so late answering As far as I know, only the albino plec is that light color. Mine is a really pale butter color. She's so visible. And I read ahead about the 'poo' issue. Mine doesn't seem to be the waste producer that many plecos are and she's in a 30 gal tank with an angel and several corys and snails. She's full grown at about 3 -1/2 inches. And if you have a planted tank - which you do - then most of the waste will be used by the plants so I wouldn't see any problem for you to get one.

No problem fishmommie, better late than never, lol....thanks so much for the info...I am off of work next week, and am going to visit a LFS and see if they would take some platys off of my hands, if so, I may have freed up enough room for a few more fish

Wish I were closer. I just returned 6 nice big colombian tetra, 5 long fin serpae tetra and a pair of wag sword tails to my LFS. Had to get them out of my 90 as my cichlids are growing and I need to adjust my stocking level + the EBJD is getting big enough I was afraid he'd start snacking on the serpae :o( They were all really nice fish. BTW - there is also a long fin albino BN Pleco that is really pretty. You don't see them too often but you might want to ask about them. Not particularly pricey if I remember right. I'd have one if I didn't already have my little girl :o(

I know. Had to get them out of the 90 - it was over stocked as my cichlids are growing. It was either them or the congos. A tough choice until I think about finding 7 male congos that are this nice and big. I think they were rare finds around here where I alwats see CT's. Doesn't mean I don't miss them :o(
