Tried to get a vid to show the size difference in the adults and the juvies, but it came out a little dark, and the juvies were wanting to hide...natch
@steeler58, where you at, bro?

And now, a too brightly lit vid of some bottom nugget feeding...sadly, that cory is the only one left in the tank, for some reason

Hey Matt and WOW its LEE! @steeler 58
Missing your commentary and fish posts. Hope you are well.
Matt, the tank looks good, the cardinals are gorgeous-my fav little fish, nice to read they are multiplying for you.
They are hardy and now it seems very adaptable to all conditions to reproduce in what is listed as not-optimal water conditions. rules are made to be broken-huh
Those cherry barbs don't look too shabby either, super active. What is the stocking currently in the tank, any plans to add in the future?
Sorry about the corys, is is age or something else that got them?

Thanks Nat
Not sure what happened with the corys, though some were up there in age...I'd like to get more...need more rummys, too
I've had other losses in the tank, some glolights and the last emperor tetra finall passed...what really puzzles me is the 2 pearl gouramis that just disappeared...the 3rd one is doing just fine, so I have no clue what happened
LOVE the cherry barbs, even the females have stunning colors, IMO

Baby cards! How cool. Bummer about the losses, but that's really great! When's the last time you saw the pearls? Mine used to disappear for a day or two now and then. Could they have jumped? I lost a whole school of them that way, once.

Good evening, Thomas
The pearls seemed to "disappear" at the same time, a month or more ago
To be perfectly honest, I never considered that they may have jumped out of the tank, but unless they did it through the HOB opening, it wouldn't have been easy for them to escape...I had totally forgotten about your incident, if you posted it on the AC (?)
Unless...during a WC...and the lid was open...uh oh
OK, time to shine a flashlight behind the tank stand, and hope NOT to see a fish boneyard...I mean, cartilage bone yard...
Wait, that still makes no sense...you know what I mean

It was a few years back, when I was doing the Angkor build. I had them in a 10g with no cover, and one day while I was at work they all jumped ship.
