Feeding time Saturday night...Hikari sinking wafers for an appetizer, frozen brine shrimp (at about the 2:30 mark) for the main course...

It is so funny how the Colombian tetras try to make off with the whole wafers in their mouths at the beginning...and toward the end of the vid, you can see a fat platy, a cory, and a snail all trying to eat from the same wafer

Sorry for the shaky fuzzy vid, but you can still make out generally what is happening...also, I had moved the light toward the front of the tank a few hours before, for the front plants, and forgot to move it back before making the vid

    Thanks for watching!

LOL....like they picked up a fumble and can't remember which goal line to run to.
When in doubt, do a water change.

Hi gronlaura, and no kidding, going to need to invest in more wafers for sure!....along with the Hikari alage wafers, these are the ones I'm feeding now: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...fm?pcatid=4267

I would like to get them something different when these run out, to add a little variety to their diet...any suggestion?...what kind would you guys buy if you had my stock?

Wow both sets of tetra have realy grown. Nothing more to add about feeding except frozen blood worms if your not already using them.

They sure are growing fast, yes...the coloring of both is really starting to pop, too, especially in lower light settings...I have the freeze-dried BW's that I soak in tank water for hours before feeding, but I only feed those about twice a month

The corys and the pleco (and the dang platys) LOVE the yellow squash and cauliflower...I don't do the broccoli as often, I notice the water smells of it so quickly after putting it in, and I keep thinking it is starting to rot...tried a carrot piece for the first time yesterday, they didn't show much interest in it, though...I'll see if it has been nibbled on when I get home this afternoon
