Anyone on here from the Southwest US and have any cholla wood outback?

Me and a friend use it in a lot of our tanks and his source ended up moving so we are looking for someone else to send us some

    Let me know.

Cholla wood is great for shrimp, killi fish etc. A combo of Indian Almond Leaves and cholla wood pieces makes a good messy tank bottom that many fish like

I use cholla wood in my shrimp tanks a fair bit. Most of the time can find decent prices on aquabid. Though I did buy it from someone over on before. Would be awesome to find a cheaper source.

exactly, he used to have a lady that had it in her backyard to send it to him cheap, but that isn't an option anymore

One local source for manzanita and cholla sometimes has been michaels, they sell craft and decor type stuff. I think folks use the manzanita and other woods in centerpieces they make to put on tables. Sometimes can find decent pieces on sale there.

May have found a source. Fingers crossed. Me and a friend of mine are talking about buying as much as someone can fit in a box, so $2-3 a piece is a bit pricey
