I will be getting 2-3 more females and 2 males. I'll have to check out the Danios. I really am considering 7-10 more Harleys. They are so cool to watch! I definitely want some fish on the bottom too though. That's why I was thinking Corys, Otos, plecos etc. Anything that helps keep the tank clean and lowers my work load is a plus.

    A large school of 15 Harley's - 6-8 rainbows - bolivian ram - group of 10 cory's would work well.

Just be careful not to stock something you dont consider a pet. I say this because back in the day "everyone needs a sucker fish to clean the tank" lead to a lot of deaths and missed stockings. Pleco's eat algae and wood but the cleaning needs to be dominantly your responsability.

10-4! I am good about doing water changes..I just love they Idea of a community of different fish and that there are fish helping in the system. I consider my shrimp and otos in my 20g pets! I love to watch them clean! I love catfish too so the idea of 6-10 panda corys in my tank makes me all happy inside! Thanks for the great advice/warning though! Maybe i'll grab one of those $899 plecos (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Ok. So far, haven't lost a single fish. Plants are looking ok. Pretty sure both anubias are done. Think I might have burried them a little too deep in the substrate. Other than that, all is well. I will bet getting some panda corys this weekend and they are ordering the rest of my Australian rainbows and rummy-nose tetras next week. I think I have completed my stocking list for this tank. Pics soon to come. As always, Thanks for any tips/advice!

Well, when I woke up Saturday to do my maintenance...One of my Harleys had passed away. I could not determine the cause of death. Besides his discoloration, he had no signs of parasites or disease. My water tested fine. I did a 35% water change and trimmed/cleaned up the tank. I decided to not add any more fish as previously planned. I'm just keeping my eye out until the fish I ordered from the LFS get in this week. I did transfer some Assassins over from my 20g because I noticed the snail population was getting large fast! I will be picking up a black background today. If I have time, I will try and get some pics up this weekend with some new fish and background. Cheers!

So I ended up getting 8 x Rummy-nose Tetras, 4 more Australian Rainbows and some kind of Pleco. The tank looks great now. I got a black Antifade poster for the background and everything pops a lot more. The plants are still doing ok. Some melon Sword leaves are dying. I put an old airflow pump in there for the fish to swim in. I'm really happy how it turned out. I might get a few more little fish (ottos or a couple SAE's). Thanks again for all the input to help make this tank.
