Returned to fish a few monthes ago
I was pretty hardcore into fish when I was 16 now I am 36. I started off slow then went down that Oscar road not knowing how big they get I had 2 Oscars, a Pleco and a Clown Loaches. The 12" clown lived 6 years and got icked. The 1 Oscar died soon after that and the pleco grew to be 4 1/2 foot long nose to end of tail and he just got out of control. I donated him to the Pittsburgh Zoo where I'm told he still lives...20 years not to shabby. The Oscar stayed with my parents with a small pleco they bought for about another 4 years and died of some unknown disease. I picked up the tank and put it in storage and when I moved to my own place I brought it with me. 10 years now after my last fish died I am back into this. My girl believes its a coping mechanism as I started back up after we returned home from my fathers funeral. I disagree but whatever. During my time I've done cichlids, tetras, bettas, one of my favorites elephant-noses and many other things.
I broke out the 29g tank and cycled the thing and got up in running to a complete mess. (Sorry fish) I then got thing going good and was going well when I figured this just won't do. Did some wheeling and dealing on craigslist and secured a 75 and 55 with stands for a few action figures. I got the 75 cycled and while doing so my girl fell in love with a Blue Crayfish at Petco. Needless to say I cycled a 10 gallon which now houses Darnell the Crabman and 2 "feeder" fish.
So what I got in my 75 -
1 Blue Gourami/1 Opaline Gourami (Currently in Mating Tank)
6 Black Skirt Tetras
6 Red-Eye Tetra
5 Gold Barbs
2 Zebra Loaches
1 Spotted 1 Striped Raphael
5 Misc. Corys
Temporary Residents - (holding for a friend who is currently in the hospital)
5 Neon Tetra
2 Black Mollies (Looks like more coming)
Bastard Skunk Loach that I wanna punt out the window
Cycling up the 29 to put these ones in.
Soooo thats me.

Welcome! The fish bug rebit me at a time when I was at a low too. Started by rescuing a few gold fish and ended with over 5k gallons of tanks. Then moved them and happened back into over 1k gallons now. Looks like you need to define your cory school as they are schoolers too but it looks like you are trying to make the right decisions on the fish.FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

Welcome to the Forum, like Sandz I would rethink your Cory school a bit, otherwise it looks like you know what your doing.Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
