What is it that you would like help with ?
What going on with your fish ?
I have also move your thread to the correct section of the forumIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

You haven't specified the problem. If it is the temperature(which is awfully high) then open up any tank covers to allow evaporation, direct a fan to the tank, put in bottles of ice and turn off the lights.
EDIT: i see that you are worried of your fish being shy. I don't know your exact situation, but a general recipe for making fish bolder is to add more hiding spaces(ironically the more hiding spaces the less fish hide. This is because they feel more confident), dim the lights a bit, and add small bold "dither fish" that will reassure the shy fish that there is no danger.

Kill the lights, and lower the temp a bit. My tanks are sitting at 85* because its so darned hot. They are more shy now than ever. Try feeding them some blood worms, most fish cant resist them.
What kind of substrate do you have for these guys? They need a sand to dig in and caves to inhabit.
Walk softly around the tank and slowly it seems to help my fish.
Anther question, what are your ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, ph (one reading in the tank and another reading from the tap) and how much water are you changing with your weekly pwc? What kind of food are you trying to feed them?KING OF THE GOLD BARBS RAWR!!!!
I wonder if i plant one of my tiger barbs would the demon seed grow to a full tree?
