spring has sprung????

ok, so i have my pair of convicts that have only been together for two days and my kribensis pair, they are in seperate tanks in the hope that they will breed. both pairs have been swimming around and coming up to the side of the tank for food and stuff then this morning i wake up to find both pairs hiding behind their piles of rocks???? in the convict tank the male keeps comming out does a quick scan of the tank then dissappears again. pretty much the same thing with the kribs. so do you think that they both spawned during the night? it would be good if they did but i cant see behind the rocks, just have to wait and see
