I had two Ram cichlids in my tank until one of them died, they were rather young at the time i got them so i couldn't really sex them but now i know the one that's left is a female and i would like to find her a man.
My question is how do i go finding her a suitable man because only a few of my LFS sell rams and they aren't really fond of people returning fish so what is the best way to get her to couple up?
Do i just go and add a different man every time because i don't know how picky rams are but it sounds like a pain to find her the proper guy.

well this is a tricky one because most times rams like to choose their partner and if they dont like them they may not mate and there might be fighting. i would just try to find another male ram of about the same size for her and if she doesn't like him then try to find him a new home. Hopefuly they will hit it off.

Depending on your tank size I would recommend getting a male and a female. The male will most likely pick one of them, then you can rehome the other female.
