To relocate or...
So...I've got a Black Moor goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. From what I've been reading, and common sense, this is too small. He isn't outgrowing the tank, but I feel bad that his growth is being stunted. But I have a solution. I just moved back to my dads house and he has a (I think 100 gallon) pond out in his front yard. Looks very nice, the water is clean, lots of algae growth, live plants, and all of the goldfish we used to have in there died of old age so it is currently empty, except for some frogs that have moved in. So I guess I just want some opinions. Should I move my goldie into the pond? He will be taken care of either way, but I feel like he could get much bigger in the pond.

Get that goldfish out of the tiny tank and into that pond!
I should add - I admire you for asking - good for you!

Alright so I moved Mr Goldfish into the pond today. Hopefully he'll be able to find the tiny pellets I will be throwing in there for him.

Just don't add non-fantail fish, they'll outcompete the moor for food.
A 10g tank is too small for goldfish, period, uness they're very small and it's temporary.I hate hearing people say "it's only a $3/$5/$1 fish/shrimp, so it's ok if it dies, I can just get another." It's still an animal! All animals should be treated like they're worth $10,000.

Just drop the pellets in the same spot every time and he will learn very quickly where to go to find them. He will probably start going to that spot every time he sees you.
