Very pretty - interesting shape - very tall tank - you're gonna have to stand on a chair to vacuum the substrate LOL

I wouldn't consider any fish that need a lot of horizontal space to swim (like danios for example). What did you have in mind for stocking?

I would stock it with a single angel, a pair of Bolivian rams, a school of about a dozen of some type of tetras, 8 silver hatchetfish and a bristlenose pleco.

Although I have no personal experience with either type of fish, I do know that for semi-aggressive fish, it's important to have enough of a "footprint" (length) for them to create territories for themselves and enough space to avoid conflicts & hide if needed - but, someone else here who knows more about them might think you have plenty of space for what you're interested in.

Actually, that tank would be really nice for an angel.

what about doing a sand bottom, a few tall pieces of driftwood planted with low light plants then having a school of cories on the bottom, a group of otos, and then something like a school of cardinal tetras or serpae

Rainbows really need more space than that, I have one of the small types and they still use all the footprint of my 75

oh that isn`t n exact picture xD i just found one on web. i gota pick up the tank in a couple hours from person house but it looks in great shape like that one XD ws planning on using bacteria from my main tank to help it cycle faster so going to do fishless one same as i did with 56. i dislike serpae i had them before they was so aggressive i had to take them back. and i have a school of cardinals and rummies in my 56 gallon lol. yeah i was thinking it was to small for rainbows as for cichlids i know mumba's need 50 or bigger this only a 45 so didn`t think so lol just thought a big huge rock wall would look awesome since it has that angle in back. I really want to stay away from a smaller fish if i can since i got the 56 with tetra's kind of wanting something bigger

I would stack rock caves coming out of that corner outward and make it a mbuna tank or some dwarf african type. Shellies will be a bit small but there are a lot of options.
    FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
    Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's
