Okay so I did a 75% water change but since I have sand it's been all stirred up and my water is all cloudy. I waited a bit and then did another change about 50%. Things look okay. I haven't put the fish in yet. The water is still pretty cloudy so I'm nervous to put them in there. Doesn't show any signs of settling soon. Would it be safe to put the fish back even though it's cloudy? Don't want to make things worse for them.

If its just the sand making it cloudy then its fine.

It's still pretty cloudy. I have a layer of Flourite under my sand so I'm thinking that got stirred up a lot. The fish seem to be doing okay though. I'm definitely keeping an eye on them and am ready to transfer them to a safe tank if things get bad.

I found something kind of awesome yesterday when I took them out. I have a baby Cherry Barb!! I was so excited. I didn't even know I could do that! Apparently my fish are happy despite me being totally new to this. :D I just thought I'd share that since it made me so happy.

Thanks! I'm hoping that they might produce more. I have 6 females and 1 male (don't know what the baby is yet). Is that an okay ratio for breeding?
