Malawi Stocking :)
I'm beginning stocking a Malawi cichlid tank, so far I've been given 3 Yellow Peacocks, and 2 Yellow Labs, ( 60G) I'm reluctant to add mbunas to the tank because apparently they don't mix to well with Peacocks (yellow labs seem to be the exception) , so I was wondering if anyone knew of malawis that hid in the rock work ( like mbunas) but were compatible with the peacocks :)
Also, would Honduran red points / firemouths mix well with the malawis? :)

I had good luck with Haps in with my peacocks...you may want to look into blue dolphins as well.
I can't speak to the redpoints or firemouths, never kept any.

No red points are not compatible with malawi cichlids. Yellow labs and red zebra are just the few mbuna I would say ok to adding with peacocks. In general you want peacocks alone or with haps and potentially the aforementioned mbuna.FW: 1 45gal, 1 40gal, 3 10gal, 3 30gal all community tanks of different species
Sw: 1 55gal, 1 30gal show, 1 29gal show, 1 20gal and 2 10's

You could also try some of the less aggressive victorian cichlids, though they can be hard to find. There are like a billion different kinds of peacocks though, why not just do an all peacock tank?"At some point you aren't making the animal more dead...You are just making a bigger mess." - Demjor19

Yes, an all peacock tank really is your best bet - you won't have to do near as much jigging of individuals if you stick with peacocks.
