  1. Default DIY Food, Please answer

    0 Not allowed!
I would like to make my own aquarium food. I am planning to use:
    - Beef
    - Bass
    - Zuchini
    - Lettuce
    - Blanched Carrots
    - Gelatine

The problem that i have is that the gelatine may contain sulphites, (not to be confused with hydrogen sulphites). Is this dangerous to my fish.
My 35g freshwater tank has small community fish such as guppies and neon tetras. Also has two bristlenoses.

    Thanks for any answers.

I dont agree with this mix. You need a bit more and less on this...

I would go with the following:

1 Beef heart (trimmed very well)
    3 Shrimp
    1/2 cup Blanches spinach
    2 centrum multivitamin
1/8 tsp of cayan pepper (for red color highlight)

blend until paste, then 3-4 teaspoons/1qt baggie. Place in the bag and flatten out. Freeze then break off and serve up. This should do for a month or so depending on the amnt you feed.
