  1. Default RCS and guppies together

Right now we have 3 albino cories and 1 red cherry shrimp in our 10 gallon tank. I am planning on getting one more albino cory. I wanted to add one other type of fish so I am considering a few guppies (either 2 males or 2 females). I have been researching if the guppies would bother the cherry shrimp and I'm seeing conflicting information. Some people are saying they have them together and they are fine and others are saying the guppies picked on the shrimp. Do any of you have experience with this? I don't want anything to happen to the shrimp, so I'm fine not adding guppies if need be.

i think the guppies would eat the shrimp new born babies, but anything would. As for full grown, and heck even most of the shrimp babies

    You'll be fine

The shrimp is about 3/4" long. Hopefully that's large enough for the guppies to leave her alone. I know the cories mostly leave her alone, but yesterday one of them must have mistook her for food and tried to nibble on her and she spent the rest of the day hiding under the driftwood. She was back to swimming around today though.

I have a mixed guppy/cherry shrimp tank - both species are breeding quite cheerfully. Anything that ventures out of hiding when it is too small doesn't last long, but every few months I notice that there are more shrimp than there used to be x

Watched a Guppy just kill a Cherry for no reason at the LFS.
