    Not sure, it's possible. They swam around with the light on. Light on or off - they were afraid of the food. It will be interesting to see what happens when they transfer to the 75 gal. Hopefully they will team up with my 3 rainbow girls right away.

    Thanks, Matt. I know they are also enjoying the softer current from the AC30. My order came today with the ball valves. I will be installing them on the dual 29s this weekend. I'm going to put in the sand and refill the first one and work at decreasing the strength of the outflow.

    An API Filstar (Rena) XP-M on each. Very strong flow from the outflow tube.

    Would a spraybar provide less flow than the nozzle?

    Yes. You can always aim the output of a spray bar at the back of the tank to defuse current.
