I totaly agree with HB; tank is already looking great!!Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.

Lol Judi, this goes to show what you can do with plants from other tanks and more scaping skills than I have! When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
I've planted all the plants from my 15 litre tank (now decomissioned and for sale) so the back has been thickened up considerably (lots of Hygrophila polysperma to take over!) In the process of doing this I drained 30% of the water and refilled it. I don't really need this tank to cycle as I'll be moving the cannister filter over when I move the stock over. I'll take an ammonia reading later to see if it's dropped at all or still leeching. And, of course, I'll post a photo update.
I've been looking at the lights on this tank. There are four T5s at 54W each. That's 216W. A bit much? I'm used to crap lights! How long would you have them on for each day? I'm thinking 5-6 hours only at the moment to see how that goes.
